Ingredients- 5 Bunches of Gongura
- 15 red chillis
- 125 gr oil
- 1 lemon size of tamarind
- salt for taste
- 6 Garlic flakes
- Seasoning: 2tsp of oil,1tsp of musterseeds,1pinch of asafoetida
Procedure- Wash Gongura leaves and drain them on a dry cloth till dried.
- Take a pan and roast the tamarind till moisture evaporates,keep it aside.
- Put a little oil and fry red chillis,remove from the pan keep them aside.
- Put 2tsp oil in a pan, put Gongura leaves and cook them till soft,let it cool.
- Grind red chillis take the powder in a plate,keep aside.
- once Gongura leaves become cold grind them in a blender ,while grinding put tamarind, and grind it like a paste.
- Add garlick to the paste, grind few more seconds.
- Remove from the mixer. Add salt and red chilli powder. put seasoning mix well.
- Place it in a airtight container Yummy Gongura pickle is ready.
