Okra Fry
Ingredients
  • 1Kg okra
  • salt to ur taste
  • oil for deep frying
  • urad dal -2tbspns
  • chana dal -2tbsps
  • mustardseeds- 1tbspns
  • jeera-1/2tbspns
  • Dry red chillies -1
  • Redchilli powder-1.5 tbspns
  • turmeric powder-lessthan1/4tbspns
  • garlic -3cloves
  • green chillies-2
  • curryleaves-4
Procedure
  1. wash okra and let it drain for 1/2 hr. Then cut them in to round shape pieces.they must be thin. then heat oil in kadhai and after oil is hot then add littled okra and deep fry.
  2. after they turn golden brown remove them from oil.repeat the process with rest okra.
  3. then in another kadhai heat 3tbspns oin then add garlic, mustardseeds, jeera, chanadal, uraddal, redchillies, greenchillies, curryleaves and fry for 2mins then add okra once again.
  4. add redchilli powder, salt turmeric and stir for 2mins and turn off the flame. serve hot.
