Ingredients- Half Cabbage- cut it in thin long pieces (use a peeler)
- Moongdal - 1/2 cup ( 60gms)
- Seasoning: Oil - 2 table spoons
- Mustard seeds - 1/2 tea spoon
- Cumin seeds - 1/2 tea spoon
- Urad dal - 1/2 tea spoon
- Curry leaves
- Green chillies - 6 to 8 finely chopped
- Ginger - smell piece finely chopped
- salt to taste
- Pinch of Turmeric
Procedure- Boil cabbage and moong dal separately and drain water, then for seasoning add oil let it boil. then add mustard seeds let them splutter, then add cumin, urad dal, green chillies, curry leaves, chopped ginger, and turmeric.
- then add boiled cabbage, moon dal and salt to taste.
- Let it fry for few minutes until water evapourates giving it a dry appearance.
