Ingredients
  • 2 Eggs (only whites)
  • 75 gms Almonds ground 75 gms.
  • 100 gms castor sugar
  • 1 tbsp Cornflour
  • Few drops Almond essence
  • 12 nos Blanched & split almonds
  • 3 floured sheets(Greased & liberally)
Procedure
  1. Break the egg whites.Remove a tablespoon for brushing.
  2. Beat the egg whites till stiff, and stir in the almonds, castor sugar, cornflour and essence.
  3. Mix the batter well and place a few teaspoonfuls well apart on the floured sheets, smoothing them out a little.
  4. Place an almond piece on each sheet and brush with egg white.
  5. Bake in a moderately hot oven for till golden. Leave for awhile and then remove Serve hot or cold.
