Halwa
Ingredients
  • 1 cup soji
  • 2 cup sugar ( or according to u'r taste)
  • 2 cup vegetable or fruit
  • 2 cup milk
  • 2 cup ghee
  • little eliach powder
Procedure
  1. If u r making beetroot or badam or potato or apple halwa, soak the cut pieces in mater or milk for 3-4 hrs.
  2. Boil them in milk till very soft. mash them and keep aside.
  3. For banana halwa, just cut into pieces and then boil, no need to soak.
  4. Now make regular halwa:Fry soji till it gives nice aroma. keep aside
  5. At sugar to boliing milk.After u get a thick sugar surp
  6. Add soji mix really well.Add ghee
  7. After 5 min add the prepared variation. add ghee
  8. let it simmer for few min, till ghee seperates.
  9. Remove from fire and let it cool.u can serve this hot or cold.
Tips
  • Since is variation halwa, soji is only binding ingrediant.
  • Therefore the ratio of soji to variation should be approx 1:2.
  • Some times you might need more milk or ghee, so use u'r skills.
