Peas Paneer Makhani
Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup green peas, boiled
  • 1/2 kg paneer, cubed
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 cup onion paste
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric
  • 2 tsp red chili powder
  • 1/4 tsp garam masala
  • 1 1/2 cups tomato puree
  • 2 tbsp fresh cream
  • 2 tsp kasoori methi (dry methi leaves)
Procedure
  1. Heat ghee, fry onion paste and ginger-garlic paste for 2 minutes.
  2. Add turmeric, red chili powder, salt, garam masala and fry for a minute more.
  3. Add tomato puree and fry for 5 minutes.
  4. Now add 1/2 cup water, paneer, peas and simmer the gravy for 2 minutes.
  5. Later add cream, kasoothi methi and simmer for another 2 minutes.
  6. Serve with jeera pulao.
