Spring Onion Rice
Ingredients
  • 1 cup Basmati Rice
  • 2 cups Water
  • 2 bunched spring Onions
  • 1tsp ghee
  • Salt To taste.
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • Ingredients for powder:-
  • 1 Tbsp Urad Dal
  • 1 tbsp chana dal
  • 1 tbspCoriander Seeds
  • 4 no Red Chilies
  • 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
  • 1 tbsp dry coconut
  • For Seasoning
  • 1 tsp Mustard Seeds .
  • 1 tsp Urad dal
  • 1/4 cup Raw Peanuts
Procedure
  1. Wash and Cook the Rice and let it cool.
  2. Grind powder with powder ingredients.Keep aside.
  3. Chop the Onions including the green part.
  4. Heat oil in a pan and put all the ingredients of the seasoning.
  5. FRy them for 3-4 mins on a medium flame.
  6. Add the Onions and stir.Add salt and ground powder cook for a few minutes.
  7. Add rice to it. Add Ghee,Turn off the heat.
  8. serve hot with riatha.
